For more details please visit http://www.jumbogroup.com/ Job Description : - The Application Head is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing and managing an organization's Application Landscape, Lifecycle Management, Roadmap definition, and delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, technology, and project delivery and strong leadership and communication skills. The Application Head collaborates with various LOBs and functions to ensure the appropriate systems capability development, utilization, and continuous improvement of the Application system to achieve organizational goals. - The Application Head plays a critical role in ensuring the effective utilization of ERP systems to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and drive overall business success. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between technology and business needs, while also fostering collaboration and alignment across the organization. Key Responsibilities : Application Strategy and Planning: - Develop and execute the organization's ERP strategy, aligning it with business goals and objectives. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation using the ERP system. - Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to ERP systems. Implementation and Upgrades: - Define, design, and lead application implementation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the specified requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and other relevant departments, to ensure seamless integration of the ERP system. - Oversee the planning and execution of system upgrades and enhancements. System Maintenance and Support: - Ensure the stability and availability of the ERP system by managing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. - Establish and enforce data integrity and security measures within the ERP system. -Provide support to end-users, addressing their concerns and training needs. Data Management and Analytics: - Analyze application data to extract valuable insights and trends for informed decision-making. - Implement data governance practices to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and compliance. Vendor Management: - Collaborate with ERP vendors to understand product roadmaps, updates, and support options. - Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements. Change Management: - Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of the ERP system across the organization. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and address concerns related to system changes. Leadership and Team Management: - Build and lead a team of Application Leads, analysts, and administrators. - Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging professional growth and development. Performance Optimization: - Continuously evaluate the performance of the ERP system and identify areas for optimization and enhancement. - Work closely with business units to customize the ERP system to meet departmental needs. Qualifications and Requirements: - Consulting approach to solving business problems and delivering appropriate solutions. - Build and manage partnerships with user communities. - Strong understanding of business processes across various functions such as finance, supply chain, logistics, inventory management, sales pipeline, order fulfillment, after-sales service, human resources, etc. - Experience in Retail. Distribution verticals. - Ability to lead cross-functional teams in project execution - Proficiency in ERP software systems (SAP / Microsoft Dynamics / Oracle). - Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Change management expertise to guide teams through transitions. - Leadership and team management experience. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. MBA preferred. - Total experience of 15+ Years, Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in ERP strategy and roadmap development, solutions, product evaluation, project planning, and implementation. - Certifications in ERP systems and project management are a plus.
