Job Overview:
The Brand Marketing Manager will lead brand development, retail marketing strategy, consumer engagement, and loyalty initiatives for the building materials category. The role focuses on strengthening brand visibility, driving consumer and channel affinity, and supporting retail sales through integrated marketing and loyalty programs. Candidates must have strong experience in retail marketing, channel activation, and running loyalty/rewards programs for building materials or related industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute brand strategy for retail channels aligned with business priorities.
- Strengthen brand positioning across product categories and retail touchpoints.
- Maintain brand architecture, communication guidelines, and messaging consistency.
- Execute retail marketing programs: shop branding, POSM, merchandising, and local activations.
- Drive retail visibility and dealer-distributor engagement through structured campaigns.
- Develop and execute trade schemes, incentive programs, and consumer promotions.
- Design, launch, and manage loyalty programs for dealers, retailers, influencers (fabricators, contractors).
- Enhance program adoption, engagement, and retention through reward structures and communication journeys.
- Analyze loyalty program performance, redemption patterns, and ROI.
- Work closely with sales teams to drive participation and maximize program impact.
- Lead ATL/BTL campaigns including print, OOH, digital, and retail communication.
- Manage agency partners for creative development, production, and media planning.
- Drive digital presence through social media, content marketing, and influencer partnerships.
- Conduct consumer research to decode retail buying patterns and influencer behavior.
- Track competition, market trends, and product category insights.
- Translate insights into action-oriented brand and retail strategies.
- Lead influencer meets, fabricator/contractor engagements, retailer events, and trade shows.
- Ensure flawless execution of localized marketing initiatives and product demo activities.
- Manage marketing budgets with focus on ROI and cost efficiency.
- Drive structured reporting, dashboards, and performance tracking for all initiatives.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong experience in brand management, retail marketing, and loyalty program management.
- Expertise in POSM, retail branding, channel activation, and trade marketing.
- Knowledge of building materials industry-steel, TMT, pipes & tubes, cement, paints, etc.
- Strong analytical capability for campaign and loyalty program evaluation.
- Creative thinking with ability to manage agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
Qualification & Experience:
- Education: MBA in Marketing or equivalent.
- Experience: 8-17 years in brand or retail marketing; must have experience managing loyalty/rewards programs.
- Industry preference: Building materials / Manufacturing
