Role Overview: The General Manager - Retail Sales will own and drive PAN India retail sales for the steel category through retailer and dealer channels. This is a leadership role responsible for building scalable retail distribution, accelerating market penetration, and delivering sustained topline and bottom line growth across regions.

Key Responsibilities:
Retail & Distribution Leadership:
- Deliver annual and quarterly revenue, volume, and profitability targets
- Build and scale retailer networks across Tier 14 markets
- Drive market expansion, outlet productivity, and regional performance consistency
- Identify white spaces, high-growth micro-markets, and channel opportunities
- Ensure strong secondary sales and healthy inventory rotation across the network
- Strengthen distributor capability, retailer engagement, and loyalty programs
- Track key retail KPIs: outlet coverage, throughput, secondary sales, market activation
Team & Cross-functional Management:
- Lead large sales teams. Set clear targets, governance mechanisms, and performance review cadences
- Build a strong sales culture focused on accountability, execution, and speed
- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and pricing teams for seamless execution
