Description: Your Key Responsibilities would include : - Ensuring BAU Execution to be best in class business lead role relates to data gathering, analysis, and testing for hit rate mitigation. Supervise and lead volume mitigation team working directly with data and information, creating meaningful analysis in order to mitigate false positive volume while keeping a priority on minimizing risk. - List maintenance and uploads pertaining to Sanction Screening and Perform testing to determine Customer, Production or Risk impact. - Effectively plan project within available resources to meet the project delivery timeframe. - Come up with innovative solutions/challenge status quo to drive efficiency within the function. - Calibration assignments with the objective of reducing manual and exception processes - Suggest changes to the programs/processes that either mitigate risk or Suggest additional analysis to be performed that seeks to identify issues or risks. - Work with onsite QAP partners for effective implementation of the QA Program - ensure timely completion of Quality review for Sanctions Screening without any observations or issues noted in the quality of the QA performed. - Develop an environment of continuous focus on quantifiable productivity and quality. - Constant and regular review of processes and performance with focus on improving departmental competency / performance rating. - Identify business knowledge gaps and ensure everyone has ownership of deliverables. - Assist the management team in risk assessment for process and recommend /implement controls. - Constant and regular review for direct reports. Set expectations with direct reports, regarding positive motivation and leading through accountability Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in finance / accounting and M.B.A preferred - 12+ years experience in financial services industry. - Experience and a strong working knowledge of various aspects of International Payment Processing Operations are mandatory. (Prior experience and working knowledge of compliance /sanctions screening is a plus) - Outstanding client management, partnership building, leadership and direct experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders at one time - Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues and senior management. - Excellent written & oral communication skills and Strong analytical skills - Sound understanding of risk management, audit methodologies & Fund Transfer Guidelines. - Proven ability to build strong business relationships within the site and across the business. - A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through. Escalate issues as appropriate. - Ability to use creative problem solving techniques to solve business issues. - Develop and lead a team that is responsive to dynamic organizational and operational changes.
