APAC Project Finance & Infrastructure Credit risk-Vice President Description: Job Description: - APAC Project Finance & Infrastructure Credit Risk Team approves and manages credit risk relating to new and existing greenfield and brownfield projects across multiple sectors including energy, power and transportation, natural resources, and green economy across multiple locations in APAC. - Overall team responsibilities include risk analysis and approval, due diligence, underwriting and structuring, ad-hoc risk analyses and situation management, as well as ownership of all ongoing risk management of project finance exposure in APAC. In each capacity, the Risk team works in partnership with Investment Banking Coverage, Global Corporate Banking, Debt Capital Markets, Infrastructure Finance and Advisory, and many other product partners to meet the needs of clients. - As the Vice President in this team, you will be reporting to the Head of Credit Risk for Project Finance & Infra, APAC. You will play an important role in assessing and structuring new deals, negotiating document terms and onboarding large scale project finance transactions across APAC. Your expertise will also be critical in the ongoing risk management of the portfolio. Job Responsibilities: - Lead due diligence and underwriting of new deals including review of financial models, feasibility studies, commercial contracts, technical, engineering and market studies among others and ultimately develop appropriate transaction structures for approvals - Apply project financing experience to develop appropriate financing structures with risk mitigations, and prepare and review credit risk approval materials, ensuring all credit risk policies are followed - Review deal documentation and negotiate credit clauses while interfacing with internal & external legal counsels and business stakeholders. - Coordinate and communicate critical credit risk information to various internal stakeholders - Perform portfolio management activities including ongoing monitoring, assessment and execution of amendment and waiver requests, early identification of risks in projects and related exposure and periodic credit and portfolio reviews and presentations - Contribute to special projects such as new product initiatives, policy development, and sector reviews - Assist in training and developing junior talent Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Master's Degree, preferably in accounting, finance, economics, engineering or related field and Extensive project finance experience, preferably at a large financial institution, corporation, or rating agency - Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to critically analyze and assess complex project finance models and structures - Strong understanding of project finance concepts, accounting, and financial statements - Proven experience in negotiating complex deal documents and In depth knowledge of risk management & credit mitigates in project finance - Experience in structured derivatives for project finance is a plus - Motivated individual who can work independently with a strong sense of accountability and has the capability to lead a team - Good commercial acumen to balance risks and opportunities with an ability to build rapport and influence change and Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex information in a clear and organized manner JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
