Party Reference Data Utility actively contributes to the firm's efforts in growing the business, reducing costs, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The organization's objectives are to explain the path that critical data follows, improve data quality, reduce ambiguity and inconsistent terminology, enhance transparency, rationalize the number of replicated data assets, and improve firmwide-sharing of information and best practices. To achieve all of this, FDM serves as the governing body to create firmwide standards that drive consistent data management practices, develop technologies and processes to support data management processes, partner with LOBs to embed data management best practices and capabilities, and ensure sustainability by refining, measuring, and improving the firm's ability to manage data. The Party Reference Data Utility is a center of excellence that enables multiple lines of business across J.P. Morgan Chase to leverage consistent, high-quality party reference data. The team's responsibilities include setting up, maintaining and off-boarding party reference data, as well as supporting targeted data quality remediation efforts. Job Description : Key Responsibilities: - Core Operations Management: Manage multiple teams led by Associates / Managers to ensure successful service delivery to various stakeholders across the globe - People Leadership: Attract, retain and develop top talent. Develop and maintain a world class and productive team. - Ensure strong focus on short and long term objectives, training, succession planning, career development, and managing career opportunities - Global stakeholder management: Maintain a harmonious relationship with global stakeholders, effectively syndicating on relevant issues, influencing to arrive at the right decisions - Controls Mindset: Ensure operational practices are in compliance with relevant risk standards, policies and regulations to maintain an effective control environment. Responsible for Errors, Fines and Losses (EF&L), Business Continuity, SOX, RED Events, Breaches/Incidents and Quality Assurance - Delivery of Strategic Programs: Support and manage the delivery of the Firm's strategic programs in a high quality, cost effective, timely and sustainable manner with risks and issues identified, prioritized, escalated and managed in a timely and open fashion. This includes effective resource management (project / people / technology), and all budgetary and economic elements of delivery. - Change Leadership: Lead the change initiatives across the PRD function in a seamless manner in close partnership with the global stakeholders. The successful individual will effect improvement across all aspects of delivery and Target Operating Model - Re-engineering Initiatives: Partner with Technology and the lines of business, to deep-dive and identify potential opportunities and drive towards executable solutions, improving controls and delivering cost saves.
