Network Management Network Management is a central function within the CIB Digital &amp; Platform Services organization responsible for managing the J.P. Morgan's Lines of Business ("LOBs") relationships with their network of local market participants and market infrastructures. These critical providers include Financial Market Infrastructures ("FMIs") (payment systems, central counterparties (CCPs), and check clearing systems) and Agent Banks (cash correspondents, partners, and clearing banks). With over 180 resources, the Network Management team is primarily located in London, Bournemouth, New York, Hong Kong, Singapore and Mumbai to provide coverage of markets and selected clients. While the group resides within the CIB, it supports all J.P. Morgan's lines of business including Corporate &amp; Investment Bank (Global Markets; Securities Services; Wholesale Payments), Asset &amp; Wealth Management, Commercial Bank and Consumer &amp; Community Banking. Network Management Group is responsible for selection and management of the network of Financial Market Infrastructures and Agent Banks used by the firm and the oversight of how the businesses engage with these utilities. Network Controls: The Network Management Controls Office is a 1st LOD (line of defense) function responsible for facilitating key control activities for Network Management. Control team is currently split between Bournemouth, London and New York. Key objective of control team is to ensure that Network Management can operate efficiently and effectively in line with the firm's operational risk framework and principles and in compliance with firm's regulatory requirements. The key activities covered by the Controls Office include (but not limited to): - Implementing the Control and Operational Risk Evaluation ("CORE") framework, which defines how control weaknesses and vulnerabilities in a business should be recorded for remediation - Facilitating the early identification and escalation of control issues and ensuring a timely and appropriate resolution; Consistent and accurate view of risk and controls across Network Management - Addressing regulatory and compliance issues and supporting the responses to regulatory and internal/external audit requests - Lead and manage major control programs eg.
