The centers provide comprehensive strategic support across technology and business operations processing to all lines of business and the corporate functions.  Chase Consumer & Community Banking serves nearly 66 million consumers and 4 million small businesses with a broad range of financial services through our 137,000 employees. Consumer & Community Banking Risk Management partners with each CCB sub-line of business to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate risk. Our Risk Management professionals work directly with Consumer Banking, Business Banking, Auto/Student Loan, Card and Commerce Services, Chase Wealth Management and Mortgage Banking to minimize, monitor and control the probability of risk events and mitigate the impact of risk events that do occur. The Consumer business is supported by both Vertical Organizations (dedicated risk staff supporting a specific business) and Horizontal Organizations (staff that is accountable for working across businesses.) One of these Horizontal organizations is the Consumer Credit Forecasting team.  Within Consumer Credit Forecasting is the Auto and Student Loan Loss Forecasting team. Our team is accountable for providing reasonable forecasts of delinquencies, losses and loan loss reserves throughout the year for various purposes like regulatory stress tests (CCAR, ICAAP and quarterly capital appetite), business planning exercise such as year end budget and mid year forecast in partnership with P&A, collections staffing plans etc. The team is also responsible for monitoring the health of the portfolio and updating the business on any concerning trends.  As a lead for the Auto and Student Loan Loss Forecasting team, you would lead team of 3+ individuals in efforts to the critical development and improvement of new and existing policies and procedures in this area.   The analytical exercises performed by the team would include:  - Explaining the variations in loss forecast model outputs based on portfolio trends, planned business actions and model components/assumptions  - Deep dives to identify segments, regions or policies driving higher losses  - Building challenger tools to increase accuracy of prediction of losses  - Providing loss related information to the business for growth initiatives, partnership deal renewals and regulatory inquiries  - Conducting independent model testing for CCAR models  - Estimation of model overlay or management adjustment to be added to raw model output  Responsibilities include:  - Directly manage teams of analysts and/or senior analysts and associates; and provide management direction to foster a high performance environment.   - Expected to lead multiple initiatives with varying timelines  - Understand project requirements from partners and clearly articulate them to team members  - Should be able to guide team members in every aspect of their work (data, platforms / tools, business knowledge, analytical techniques etc.)  - Ensure timeliness and quality of delivery  - Build and maintain strong engagement with all stakeholders (both India and US)  - Mentoring team members to ensure professional development in line with their career aspirations  - Pro-actively identify analytical opportunities and drive them to come up with concrete actionable for improving models, processes and policies  - Summarize findings into compelling presentations and communicate them to senior management  Qualifications:  - Finance, Statistics, Economics or equivalent work/training is required; advanced degree is preferred  - 8+ years of related analytical experience  - Deep credit risk experience in one or more US consumer credit portfolios (i.e. U.S. Mortgage, Home Equity, Credit Card, Automotive, Lease, Business Banking)  - Strong analytical, technical and statistical skills. Ability to synthesize / analyze diverse information, develops recommendations, and makes decisions.  - Project Management Skills -- well-organized, structured approach. Ability to achieve tight timelines on complex deliverables. Ability to manage and prioritize projects across cross-functional groups.  - Ability to develop an auditable control framework for the research completed by the team  - Proven record in problem solving and business innovation. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Staff management skills.   - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with individuals across departments / functions and with senior-level individuals.   - 4+ years of SAS programming experience (PC, UNIX or mainframe).  - Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.  The work schedule is Monday - Wednesday, 1 PM - 10 PM IST and Thursday - Friday, 11:30 AM - 8:30 PM IST
