Job responsibilities: - Partner with team leads across IR&A globally to identify and assess risk in investment activities, recommend risk mitigation strategies and escalate issues / concerns to senior management. - Collaborate with Investment Research Team, Investment and Operational Due Diligence Teams to develop and maintain understanding of risk profiles of funds and portfolios. - Lead a team of risk managers in contributing towards global investment risk oversight activities. - Participate in deep dive reviews analyzing top portfolio risks and exposures, in the context of market events and emerging risks - Strive to develop a deep understanding of methodologies, processes and procedures and suggest enhancements; - Represent Risk in working groups and/or meetings and review key risk issues, as appropriate - Assist efforts to improve risk transparency and infrastructure - Set up and/or enhance risk management processes and controls. - Mentor and develop junior colleagues, and guide them towards realizing their full potential Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Engineering or similar fields. Master's degree in Finance or similar fields, CFA, FRM will be preferred - At least 7 years' in Financial Services, with at least 5 years related to Risk management or Investment Risk. - Have experience with investment products including fixed income, equity, and mutual funds - Are analytically inclined, with knowledge of data visualization tools (ex. Tableau) or programming (ex. VBA, Python) being an added advantage - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, collaborative and inquisitive nature. - Have experience in managing diverse and inclusive teams of high-performing contributors - Appreciate the value of working in partnership with others to accomplish mutual goals - Use your knowledge and experience to find answers to pressing problems and create workable solutions - Are intellectually curious and demonstrate a willingness to take on responsibilities that might lay outside your immediate area of expertise - Are comfortable working with large, diverse data sets - Team management experience of a few years. - Should have prior Risk experience preferably with Market or Investment Risk experience.
