Vice President - POS Fraud Risk Optimization CCB Point of Sale Fraud Strategy Job Description: The Point of Sale Fraud Strategy team within CCB Operations is an analytics team responsible for creating and maintaining the authorization strategy used for decisioning transactions while mitigating fraud risk across products like Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Commercial cards. The team manages authorization of ~60 MM+ transactions daily translating into $1.5 trillion of annual credit and debit card sales and $0.5 billion fraud risk exposure to the bank across plastics The strategies leverage machine learning based fraud models, internal/external data sources , customer & merchant behavioral data along with statistical optimization techniques to help detect and prevent unauthorized fraudulent transactions across different third party loss types, protecting our customers and the firm while also creating best in class customer experience at the Point of Sale Qualifications: - Master's degree in relevant technical or quantitative fields (e.g. Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Business, Statistics, Operations Research and Economics) with strong analytical, technical, statistical skills preferred - Prior 3+ years of work experience in risk management, strategic analytics, data analytics or payments function from a banking or consulting domain - Competent in the use of data technology to solve complex business problems, with hands-on expertise in the use of programming languages like Python/Hive, SAS, R, SQL, Unix and/or other Oracle and/or Teradata database tools - Experience in Big Data platforms and technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Spark, etc.) & Machine learning is a plus - Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with individuals across departments / functions and making recommendations to Senior management - Good multi-tasking skills with ability to manage and prioritize projects across cross-functional groups - Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced energetic environment and can adapt to changes quickly Leadership: - Provide regular coaching & leadership & supervise the day-to-day functions of the group - Leverage expertise and build collaborative relationships - Discuss and improve on Training and Learning opportunities - Consistently look for innovative ways to improve on productivity, development of employees while keeping them motivated in an extremely fast paced environment - Provide timely direction on strategic changes within the business and help align the focus of resources to the same - Leverage on the expertise of teams within the site and other sites to improve overall performance - Model the organization's core values, operating principles, and philosophies - Make appropriate and fact-based decisions with available information when under pressure and/or adverse conditions JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
