JP Morgan Chase - Senior Product Associate - Co-Branded Card

As a Senior Product Associate in Consumer & Community Banking Team, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.

Job responsibilities:

- Partners with the Product Manager(s) to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery.

- Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization, including engineering, design, data, marketing, sales, and customer support, to deliver high-quality products and solutions to customers.

- Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle.

- Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development.

- Drive the product development lifecycle based on Cobrand product roadmap, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

- Ensure the Card platform complies with regulatory requirements and industry standards for security and data protection.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a equivalent engineering field.

- 5+ years of product management experience.

- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle.

- Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition.

- Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy.

- Strong understanding of APIs, Business process automation, payment processing, and card issuance technologies.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

- Banking, Financial Services, Fintech or payment processors is preferred.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to influence and partner / collaborate to drive cross-functional teams without authority.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Ability to analyze opportunities & problems, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively & confidently (both verbal and written).

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with clear structure and clarity.

- Applying design thinking (client journey, UX / UI, moments of truth) and comfortable explaining target state customer experiences to stakeholders and technology teams through wireframes and mockups. Prior work experience in API definitions and design with a good understanding of modern software stack and database knowledge a plus.

- MBA or advanced MS degree is a plus.
