Description: The Corrections and Remediation Analytics - Center of Excellence (CoE) performs data analysis using SAS/SQL etc. to identify customers impacted by process or operational breaks throughout the firm. This CoE supports Auto Finance, Business Banking, Consumer Banking, Credit Card, Merchant Services, and Wealth Management. Playing a critical role within Corrections and Remediation, the Analytics Team is responsible for identifying the impacted customers through exploratory data analysis , calculating financial harm, and supporting the execution of appropriate account adjustments or notifications based on various correction strategies. Job Summary: As a Quant Analytics Associate Sr in the Corrections Analytics Team, you will be responsible for identifying the impacted customers through exploratory data analysis , calculating financial harm, and supporting the execution of appropriate account adjustments or notifications based on various correction strategies. Job Responsibilities: - Synthesize data into actionable insights and effectively communicate to key stakeholders - Query databases and identify correction population through exploratory data analysis , estimate financials, and create execution files to remediate the identified population + Use SAS to automate repetitive analytics steps - Develop deep knowledge of the processes and data structure involved with each functional area - Drill into requirements to ensure clarity in representing them while coding for the analytical study ; work closely with stakeholders - Engage in evergreen certification, project/people mentorship, lead projects end to end and continuously develop skills to provide best-in-class analytics - High complexity associated with understanding and analyzing data across multiple functions, lines of business and associated data sources and structures Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills: - 7+ years related experience - Prior experience with SAS and other programming languages, e.g., Python, R, SQL, Java - Data Analysis & Wrangling: Able to query data from multiple sources with considerations for null values or required manipulations/aggregation - Data Mining: Identify insights and anomalies within data - Relational database knowledge - Banking Domain Knowledge is a must - Leads and coordinates the efforts of others including the assignment of work.
