Description: Digital Document Services - Reference Data Manager will be mainly responsible for review of legal documentation and input of key parameters (economic and non-economic) from the legal agreements into the systems of JP Morgan. Also be responsible and manage LOBs metrics, drive strategic projects and building the culture of Continuous Improvement supporting business across Back Office, Middle offices as well as Global teams. The individual will be interacting with multiple Operations & technology teams within the organization to (re)design process. Job Responsibilities: - Monitor Workflow and assist Team Leaders for an equitable distribution of work - Manage internal SLAs and communicate performance to stakeholders through reports - Act as escalation point and resolve issues in a time bound fashion - Proactively identify issues and co-ordinate with the relevant functions internally (e.g.: client service professionals, legal etc.) for prompt resolution on disputed points within set time-frame parameters. - Improving controls in the process & ensure 100% accuracy and compliance to Regulatory rules - Regular update to senior management on BAU, projects etc. - Effective Stakeholder Management - Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and support strategic documentation programs and tactical project initiatives. - Generate reports and scorecards, present them in operations calls, provide capacity and contingency planning. - The candidate needs to be flexible in terms of work hours and shifts because of the nature of the job. Working in a shift that has an overlap with US office hours is a requirement. Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities: - MBA in finance with minimum 8-9 years / Graduate or Post-Graduate with 8-12 years' experience in operations. - Familiarity with a global bank's process & operational environment including management and external reporting is a must. Strong business knowledge i.e. Investment Banking, process and system knowledge. - Ability to think and act strategically: a. Deal with day-to-day issues as well as planning and executing projects / initiatives b. Ensuring the team's activities support Operations in attaining its strategic goals c. Excellent attention to detail, and an ability to know when a deep-dive approach is appropriate - Ability to drive results through a "hands-on" approach - Ability to manage a team of high achievers with diverse experience and skill sets. Successful in team environments with matrix reporting structures - Skilled in identifying talent, recruiting, coaching, mentoring, and developing team members - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and adept at communicating with all levels of the business and technical parts of the organization - Skilled in MS office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access and Project - Can operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and can prioritize one's own and team's work to achieve them.
