As a Quant Analytics Associate within the Business Banking Data & Analytics (D&A) BAT team, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing data, developing actionable business insights, and collaborating on strategic initiatives to enhance the Business Access Tools (BAT) experience for our customers. You will deliver a seamless omnichannel journey for Business Banking clients, requiring a strong grasp of end-to-end business processes, extensive data discovery, and thorough documentation. You will have frequent opportunities to engage directly with senior leaders, navigating complex data ecosystems, synthesizing research and customer insights, and influencing key initiatives and marketing strategies across teams and channels.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic partner to stakeholders, leveraging deep understanding of business promoters and data.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to set measurable goals and advise on strategies and experimentation.
- Identify and source data points for reporting from the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
- Lead the execution of KPIs, trend analyses, dashboards, and advanced analytics (segmentation, optimization, etc.) to promote business performance.
- Work cross-functionally to deliver analytics, insights, and execution support.
- Assess and enhance processes and controls to support business outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Develop SQL code and stored procedures to capture required data; build reports using Tableau.
- Utilize Adobe Analytics to uncover deep insights into customer interactions with digital properties, enabling data-promoten decisions to improve engagement and conversion.
- Ensure all data logic is accurately documented and maintained in the Bitbucket repository.
- Proactively identify growth opportunities and communicate recommendations to leadership and teams across the firm to refine strategies.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (business, finance, economics, engineering, statistics, information systems, mathematics).
- 4+ years of experience in digital analytics.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Proven experience delivering analytics and insights to various management levels, supporting business strategy and execution.
- Proficiency in relational databases (Snowflake SQL) and data analysis languages (Python, SAS, etc.).
- Experience with interactive reporting tools (Tableau).
- Hands-on experience with digital and customer journey analytics tools (Adobe Analytics).
- Flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated; able to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Experience in an insights role within financial services or consulting for financial firms.
- Familiarity with big data disciplines, AWS, Agile (scrum) methodologies, and emerging technologies.
- Effective communicator with senior leaders, fostering collaboration and transparency.
- Experience with Quantum Metrics for digital and customer journey analytics.
- Lifelong learner with a growth mindset; passionate about staying current with industry trends and sharing knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively, delivering creative solutions that address business challenges while maintaining focus on strategic objectives.
