Product Delivery Manager

As a Product Delivery Manager in Consumer and community Banking , you work to enhance and optimize the way products are delivered to customers. As a key member of the team, you create solutions and efficiencies that enable successful implementations in an expedient and organized way.
Job responsibilities:
- Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
- Leads the completion of change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners
- Facilitate product owner adherence to agile guidelines through monitoring and reporting remediating where necessary.
- Intake and assess product development requests from cross-functional products including assessments of readiness for consideration and validations of business needs.
- Coordinate release management activities including go/no go confirmations from key stakeholders before code deployment and go-on to manage release day activities.
- Drive commitment for critical dependencies - including facilitating elaboration sessions, helping to secure resources, ensuring sprint alignment, etc.
- Maintain an ongoing deep knowledge and documentation of product controls across the portfolio including evidence of validations, approvals, and action plans.
- Manage key business operation deliverables including executive updates, updates to internal communication pages, and the provision of key artifacts to cross-functional teams when requested.
- Work with the Product Owner to model rigorous prioritization protecting the book of work from external requests and distractions where possible.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area
- Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities
- Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
- Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies
- Familiarity with Buy-Now-Pay-Later solutions (at a minimum as a user)
- Experience with agile product development techniques, principles and practices, experience supporting a product organization
- Structured thinker, leveraging organizational philosophies and data driven approaches to influence actions
- Commitment and self-motivation
- Demonstrable experience working in banking or with financial products
- Effective written and verbal communicator with excellent reasoning, organizational and presentation skills
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and with JIRA
