Job Responsibilities : - Drive Payments foundational target-state architecture for Consumer and Small Business Payments - Need strong hands-on experience with designing distributed highly available applications in AWS. - Very well versed in digital payments area including current-state and future trends - Ability to think out of the box in solving problems - Experience in managing a small team of architects to drive solution architecture for strategic projects (80% Hands-On Architecture, 20% Management) - Well versed in modeling languages like C4, UML, EA frameworks like TOGAF Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills : - 15+ years of Solution Architect experience - Experience migrating On-prem Monolith Application to Microservices in AWS. Strong software engineering and object-oriented programming skills with expertise in Java - Expertise in modernizing software architecture using domain driven design (DDD), Microservice patterns, APIs, event driven design for private and cloud - Experience designing REST APIs and using Swagger to build REST contracts - Experience with SQL and NoSQL Databases such as Postgres, Oracle, DynamoDB and Cassandra. Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean - Strong skills in project management and time management. Understanding of relevant technologies and development life cycles. Strong business and product knowledge - Excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with all technical and non-technical members of the organization. Eagerness To Learn and seek new approaches to problem solving Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Ability to present and effectively communicate to Senior Leaders and Executives.
