Business Transformation - Program Management (PM) & Program management Office (PMO) - The US and IPB Business Transformation teams - BTO and ITO groups predominantly will focus on the development, implementation and on-going support of strategic programs that meet Business and Regulatory demands. - The team will perform detailed analyses and define feasibility plans, coordinate delivery of results across different teams and departments, manage and report progress through project plans and other reporting tools, and drive the implementation of business solutions and change management initiatives. - The PMO role provides transparency and decision making support to senior leaders across the full portfolio of change activities impacting the International Private Bank. - The responsibilities will include the management, tracking, reporting and on-going governance of strategic programs that meet business and regulatory demands. - These can span sales and service innovation, digital capabilities, regulatory needs, and controls-related enhancements. The Role : Functional Aspects of the Role : - The functional / domain expertise/contribution would be a major expectation of the individual. - In playing this role the individual will be aligned to a strategic transformation program wherein the expectation is to focus on the development, implementation and on-going support of strategic programs that meet Business and Regulatory demands. - The role will entail performing detailed analyses and define feasibility plans, coordinate delivery of results across different teams and departments, manage and report progress through project plans and other reporting tools, and drive the implementation of business solutions and change management initiatives. - The size and duration of each project will vary but the objectives will focus on similar key aspects such as risk mitigation, process efficiency, technology enablement and business development. - An ED within ITO needs to have the mindset to integrate into an internal management consulting team as they work through the following aspects - - Drive project deliverables; design, develop and establish key reporting standards; consistently follow up on requests, tasks and assignments - Define project scope and identify and build strong relationships with key stakeholders - Own, deliver and execute tasks in a timely manner, manage and meet deadlines; effectively prioritize workload across the team and keep others informed of progress - Show leadership in difficult or complex situations - Identify potential risks, issues and dependencies and the path to mitigation or resolution - Understand the project subject matter and context, including regulatory environment - Take initiative in proposing solutions and "thinking outside of the box"; consider impact across business; collect information proactively and re-evaluate solutions - Contribute in meaningful and appropriate ways to meetings or calls; clear, concise and confident written and oral communications - Make results of own analysis understandable, enabling others to accept and buy-in to conclusions - Build network and understanding in and outside of the Strategic Programs Group, across geographies - Demonstrate a commitment to acquiring new knowledge and skills; seek to continuously improve standards of work, address opportunities for development - Specific responsibilities of the individual as the site lead for this ~15 member India organization - The team comprises of individuals across experience levels - Sr. Associates and VP's who are aligned to various strategic programs across ITO. - This group comprises of program managers and few PMO's, the PMO India group tracks progress of programs beyond ITO encompassing the broader IPB and USPB businesses, this is being established as a center of excellence in India for the business transformation global organization. The lead would need to collaborate global with the various program leads to manage this team locally, below are some key aspects of these responsibilities : - The lead would need to partner locally with members of the team at varying experience levels and provide guidance on the functional aspects (in consultation with program leads globally) - Partnering with the global team to identify and hire appropriate talent with varying experience levels, staffing the team appropriately and managing them both individually and as a collective team - setting goals, monitoring progress and offering ongoing career guidance - Responsible for Business Development - Understand the broad business and organization and apply apply business / product / process understanding to identify opportunities to enhance collective contribution of this team - Establish strong controls and governance framework to ensure proper integration of the India team with the global partners - Stakeholder management - Effective communication and regular dialogue - two way feedback with the relevant global program owners, be a valued member on the ITO global leadership forums - Lead and be the catalyst for change as requirements and priorities shift as we progress from planning to execution - Encourage and drive collaboration with related functions/groups supporting this business locally and globally to drive integration and overall effectiveness Qualifications : - Members of the ITO team possess strengths in project management, problem resolution, effective communication, product knowledge, and marketing. - The position requires flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt within a dynamic environment.
