Description: The Custody Middle Office Client facing team, Mumbai, India consists of cross-product, functionally aligned teams to support Global Custody clients on Trades, Cash, Foreign Exchange and Asset Servicing enquiry streams and the Team is expected to have a proactive approach towards service delivery. As an Executive Director in the Custody Middle Office Client Facing Team, you will lead a dynamic team dedicated to supporting Global Custody clients across Trades, Cash, Foreign Exchange and Asset Servicing enquiry streams. This role offers the opportunity to drive strategic initiatives, manage complex client relationships, and lead a high-performing team in a global, fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, acting as a senior liaison to ensure client satisfaction and business growth. - Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. - Collaborate seamlessly with global teams, driving initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals. - Provide strategic oversight and make high-level decisions during critical situations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. - Optimize processes related to corporate actions, income processes, trade management, and cash management. - Ensure timely and accurate responses to client inquiries, maintaining high standards of service. - Oversee the publication and review of performance metrics, using data to drive strategic improvements and accountability. - Manage communication channels effectively, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. - Identify data-driven opportunities for innovation and process improvement, partnering with stakeholders to implement changes. - Ensure adherence to all departmental best practices, procedures, policies, and controls, setting the standard for the organization. - Lead strategic initiatives that drive business growth and enhance client service delivery. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: - Minimum 15+ years of experience within Custody or Investment Bank environment, with a focus on Trade Management, Cash Management, or Asset Services. - Proven ability to lead large teams and influence at the executive level. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent the organization at industry events and client meetings. - Demonstrates strategic thinking and the ability to drive organizational change and innovation. - Successful track record in managing risk and implementing risk reduction strategies across multiple business units. - Experience in leading change initiatives, documenting and implementing new processes efficiently across the organization. - Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment. - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools. - Experience working in a global environment, understanding regional differences and market dynamics. - Flexibility to accommodate global time zones, particularly late EMEA shifts.
