As a Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Bank's Athena Risk team, you will be leading a team of senior engineers to deliver on strategic priorities for the Lines of Businesses. You will collaborate with Product Owners to drive multiple complex projects and initiatives, while serving as a primary decision maker for your team and be a driver of innovation and solution delivery. Job responsibilities - Lead a team of engineers focusing on building and enhancing our risk platform. - Manage team performance, including coaching for career growth and fostering a healthy team environment. - Make decisions that influence team's resources and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures. - Lead technology and process implementations to achieve functional technology objectives. - Engage in hands-on coding as part of regular workload, ensuring technical excellence and innovation. - Influence peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teams - Champion the firm's culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills - Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
