RESPONSIBILITY (working contacts, employees supervised, control over expenditure &amp; equipment) - Work with / under supervision of senior corporate tax team members for direct and indirect tax and transfer pricing related matters of India businesses and entities. In this role you will be expected to: - Assist senior team members for tax compliance on India Direct and Indirect tax issues/ evaluate tax risks and implications for various products and transactions - Work closely with the relevant finance, business management and operations teams on tax issues, assist senior team members in providing operational implementation of tax best practices and tax risk mitigation measures. - Assist in reviewing Monthly TDS payment, Quarterly TDS Returns, Computation &amp; Payment of Advance tax, Self-Assessment Tax, Appeal fees, Tax demands, filing fees etc. - Reconciliation of Form 26AS and follow-up for TDS certificates with Clients and internal teams - Online filing of Appeals/Form 3CD/Form 3CEB/Return of Income. - Reviewing Quarterly/Annual Tax Packs for Head Office Reporting - Assist for providing responses for Notices and Adhoc Queries of Tax to Tax Consultants - Assist with advisor engagement formalities, negotiation of fees, obtain approvals as per firm's policy for Third Party Oversight /Anti-Corruption/Sourcing/Legal for new/renewal of tax related engagements - Assistance in FATCA / CRS compliance, CBCR &amp; Master filing reporting for JPM India entities. OVER ALL PURPOSE OF JOB - To support the Tax team on direct tax, transfer pricing and indirect tax matters including tax compliance, audit, appeals and any other tax proceedings - Other projects/ assignments as may be required MAIN ACTIVITIES/TASKS - Support senior team members of the tax team in tax advisory and compliance on direct and indirect tax matters. - Stay updated on tax technical developments - law, jurisprudence and practices SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS - Fresh qualified CA or CA with experience of 1-2 yrs. in corporate tax/MNC tax in industry or big four consulting firms. Strong technical skills are essential. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enthusiastic, self motivated - Work well individually and in a team.
