Securities Services Cash Product Development - Associate Short Description : The incumbent in this role will be responsible for leading key strategic projects from the India region and support the broader global Cash, Liquidity and Foreign Exchange Product Development team. Expectation would be to continuously develop industry/product knowledge around Cash and FX and leverage the same to define target end state for Cash capabilities, translating it into a delivery roadmap. Ability to understand client, stakeholder requirements and working out viable solution is key. Posting Description : The Securities Services Cash, Liquidity and Foreign Exchange Product Development team is responsible for articulating and implementing the target landscape for Securities Services' cash and FX capabilities. We set strategic direction, identify and govern investment proposals, manage end-to-end technology delivery across all aspects of cash, liquidity, and foreign exchange activity. The surface area extends from instruction capture through transaction processing and settlement, and continues into data representation and onward reporting, to internal and external consumers and stakeholders. This role is within the Global Custody Cash & FX Product Development team. The successful candidate will support global Cash, Liquidity and Foreign Exchange Product Development. The incumbent will be responsible for driving the strategic Cash development work and lead some of the key project from the region. Partnership with product management on strategic re-platforming programs, delivering client requested change and other strategic deliverables will be key. End to end ownership, working in close partnership with all business stakeholders including technology, Operations and testing department will be an imperative. This role is based out of Mumbai and is part of the broader Securities Services team in the location. Job Responsibilities : - Lead the Cash Product strategic deliveries planned and subsequent roadmaps, with particular focus on the management and development of core cash lifecycle events including instruction, validation, projection and settlement. - Develop expertise for different types of cash transactions and should be able to link this to business activities, system flows and future state target operating models. - Own and maintain product development team artefacts such as cash Confluence Prod dev space, actions, plan and milestones, business requirements documentation. - Participate in the governance of the testing cycle prior to implementation - Collaborate with key stakeholder groups (viz. Product Managers, client-facing teams, publishers and consumers of cash transactions and data, technology, Testing, PMO teams, amongst others) to understand end to end lifecycle including upstream and downstream system integration. - Identify and implement process improvements. Manage effective working group meetings across Product, Operations and Technology to deliver the cash strategy and design systemic architecture to deliver leading cash solutions for clients. - Prioritize and schedule work, understand / evaluate the relative importance of different pieces of work, manage dependencies across streams, and co-ordinate the deliveries in the overall functional on-boarding. Deliver timely against the project objectives - programme definition, planning and execution - and hold others to account for their components of delivery. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, Skills : - Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills are required with ability to see the big picture across lines of business, as well as being able to step in to understand the detail to help resolve issues as and when required. - Strong program management skills, must be organized and able to lead, influence and drive the project plan. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and other advanced tools such as Tableau/Alteryx/Signavio will be preferred. - Strong collaboration skills, ability to work across teams/ stakeholders will be key - Excellent written and oral communication, clarity of thought and the ability to express oneself clearly. - Self-motivated, quick learner, being the focal point of a virtual project team, comfortable with responsibility - Broad business understanding, with ability to capture end-to-end business flow and progressively deepen subject matter expertise, identifying impact and dependencies up and down stream. Experience with system, process or data design, Target Operating Models will be ideal Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, Skills : - Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with a sound academic record.
