Role Overview: The Credit Card Risk portfolio monitoring and analytics team provides advanced analytics and data support to the Credit Cards Risk Team. Responsibilities include monitoring portfolio performance and associated drivers, building analytical DataMart's for ad-hoc reporting , and supporting regulatory exams and audits. The team balances speed and accuracy to enable agile, informed decision-making for leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive Strategic Decision-Making: Develop analytics and reporting solutions to empower credit card risk leaders with actionable insights for informed business decisions.

- Deliver Executive and Regulatory Reporting: Lead the preparation and delivery of comprehensive risk reports and dashboards for executive forums, senior management, and regulatory stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

- Enhance Risk Monitoring and Data Integrity: Oversee credit management activities by monitoring portfolio trends, validating data quality, and supporting technology migrations to maintain robust risk controls.

- Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Risk, Finance, Technology, and Business teams to integrate macro trends and cross-business insights, aligning reporting initiatives with organizational objectives.

- Support Audit and Regulatory Readiness: Serve as a subject matter expert by providing critical data and documentation for audits and regulatory examinations, proactively addressing emerging risk trends and reporting requirements.

Candidate Profile:

- Broad understanding of financial services, risk management, and credit card portfolios (is preferred).

- Strong documentation, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.

- Effective communicator, able to present complex information clearly to all management levels.

- Collaborative team player, comfortable working virtually and across functions.

- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

- Committed to productive teamwork and information sharing.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Data Science, or related field

- Minimum 4+ years of experience in risk management, data analytics, or reporting within financial services.

- Strong understanding of risk concepts, regulatory requirements, and data governance.

- Project Management Skills - well-organized, structured approach. Ability to achieve tight timelines on complex deliverables. Ability to manage and prioritize projects across cross-functional groups

- Proficiency in analytical languages at least one - SAS, Python, SQL

- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
