
Job Description:
As an Associate in Marketing Intelligence Team, you would be part of the Global Business Intelligence team which works in a blend of strategy, technology, data analytics, and execution with a key focus on defining data-driven analytic solutions for J.P. Morgan Private Bank.
In this role, you will focus on partnering with marketing and digital teams and work across multi-channels to identify key metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to track and, deliver intelligence solutions in the hands of the stakeholders. The aim is to shape marketing strategies through data-driven insights, and to embed these insights into the organization's decision making framework. You will create, coordinate and execute on our strategic priorities across marketing, analytics, and technology.
Job responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert of marketing channel business intelligence - Work across multi channels to understand business drivers/problem statements, identify, design key metrics / performance Indicators (KPI), translate into structured analysis and provide business insights
- Collaborate with key marketing stakeholders to design, develop and maintain dashboards and reports. Optimize dashboard performance and usability through data modeling, scripting and mock up designing
- Conduct in-depth data exploration and mining to understand client behavior, market opportunities, and campaign effectiveness
- Develop a strong understanding of different data sources, work on data ingestion and performing exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and anomalies, execute data transformation processes to structure and optimize data for analytics and reporting
- Enhance data literacy across the organization, partnering with Marketing stakeholders to deliver timely, prescriptive, and actionable insights that inform decision-making processes e.g. Measure efficacy of channel engagements - web, email, publications, media, outreach strategy for non-engaged audience, Implement and optimize marketing attribution models, support campaign / event targeting, list management and ROI evaluations
- Partner with technology team to build and enhance data pipelines, identify gaps in data quality / accuracy and eventually setting to continuously improve the data across platform
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, collaborating across multi-channels / business functions global / India to understand business drivers and problem statements. Identify and design key metrics and performance indicators and translate them into structured analysis to provide actionable insights that help achieve key strategic business priorities
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- MBA or advanced degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering or other analytics-focused fields
- Relevant experience in roles within data visualization & marketing analytics (Digital, social media, web or other channels) for Private Banking/Wealth Management preferred
- Technical expertise in Python/SQL/Pyspark and data visualization tools like Tableau.
- Comfortable working iteratively with large sets of data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data findings into compelling narratives and present them to diverse audiences
- Demonstrate judgment, analytical rigor, curiosity, open-mindedness, and creativity. Apply critical thinking to interpret data, deriving meaningful insights and simplifying complex business challenges into actionable solutions
- Ability to work with evolving and ambiguous goals, foster a culture of innovation and creativity, and maintain an open-minded and curious approach to lead industry trends
- Strong time management and organizational skills and ability to adapt to shifting priorities, requirements and timelines
