Description: You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in Macro Research and Analytics . You have found the right team. As a Macro Research and Analytics Professional in our Finance team you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm. You will be a part of a regional team build-out of Balance Sheet and Macro Research team within the New York-based Interest Rates Analytics Group. Job Responsibilities: - Develop best-in-class original research & analysis and models to support the balance sheet and macro research in close conjunction with the treasury departments of other Lines of Business. - Conduct independent research for Treasury and Fed's balance sheet dynamics; expanding existing suite of internal research models to deliver forecasts for system wide flow dynamics and assets and liabilities of firm and defining the top-down distribution by line of business. - Conduct research and contribute to the development of analysis pack in various aspects of flow of funds analytics. - Develop advanced data analytics to model flow of funds behavior - Identify/track dynamic system wide fund flow factor relationships and develop leading indicators. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - 7+ years of experience developing independent Macro Research - Strong academic background with a degree in economics/finance or demonstrated knowledge of macro-economics/interest rates research - Should be curious to identify changing fund flow dynamics and understand the observable by building satisfactory factor relationships - Strong knowledge of: Python and Excel - Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) - A self-starter who is able to independently work in a fast paced, results driven environment - Willingness to dive into details and dig deep into data to find answers to challenging questions JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
