As an Associate within the Investment Middle Office Change Team, you will collaborate with internal business lines and clients to deliver both efficiency promote and client promote change and governance for the IMOS business.
Ideally the candidate will have prior experience in facilitating governance forums and will have knowledge regarding inter-affiliate charters and regulatory changes. A strong background in Project Management and fantastic organisational skills will be key to the candidate's success in the role.
Job responsibilities :
- Support project management of operational initiatives by tracking milestones, updating progress, and raising issues early.
- Organize and monitor operational projects by tracking key milestones and deadlines.
- Collate status updates from team members, validating accuracy and sharing promptly.
- Escalate potential delays or challenges to enable early resolution.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support change initiatives, ensuring timelines are met and issues are reported.
- Partner with colleagues and external teams to align activities supporting operational changes.
- Communicate project timelines and requirements to keep stakeholders informed.
- Flag difficulties or delays quickly so corrective actions can be taken.
- Identify process improvement and risk-reduction opportunities with Product Development and Technology, and help drive implementation.
- Document current workflows to highlight efficiency gains and control enhancements.
- Facilitate regional outsourcing governance forums and support Inter-Affiliate Charters across APAC, EMEA, and North America, maintaining compliance records and monitoring adherence to policies and regulations.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills :
- Sound Product knowledge (e.g. Trade processing, Asset Servicing, IBOR)
- Understanding of Outsourcing / Governance Forums, including Inter Affiliate Charters
- Fantastic Project Management, Stakeholder Management and organizational skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Solid troubleshooting skills, analytical thinking, adaptability and flexibility.
