Asset Management provides individuals, advisors and institutions with strategies and expertise that span the full spectrum of asset classes through our global network of investment professionals. Wealth Management helps individuals, families and foundations take a more intentional approach to their wealth or finances to better define, focus and realize their goals GPB Headcount & Expense COE is responsible for partnering across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis for headcount & expense management. Our headcount & expense COE team is responsible for a wide range of activities including forecasting and budgeting, analysis of financial/business metrics, delivery of weekly/monthly/quarterly management reporting, development of new reporting capabilities (e.g. dashboards), and advising the line of business CFOs on how to increase profitability and efficiencies. About the Role Primary Responsibilities: - You will analyze, prepare, and reconcile accounting and technical data as well as prepare reports, while always thinking of and devising ways to streamline and minimize cycle times through automated applications and process improvement. - You will also help develop recommendations effecting business procedures and operations along with maintaining financial and reporting systems. In addition, you will assist the department and other team members with special projects or components of other projects as needed. The main tasks include: - Responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting the headcount and expenses for the Global Private Bank business. The key responsibilities include - Partnering with the CFO/ CEO for headcount & expense management - Driving headcount & expense initiatives eg. location strategy - Managing the monthly forecast and annual budget cycle - Partnering with the CFO/ CEO in reorganization of functions which includes cost center management and historical restatements - Presenting the key business findings and highlighting the risks & opportunities to the senior management - Ability to work with multiple groups across the organization - Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible. - Work with various Essbase add-ins and reporting databases to manage reporting changes. - Contribute ideas around improving reporting capabilities and new projects - Helping design new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior management Desired Candidate Profile: - Minimum of CA or an MBA in Finance is required - 5+ years of Finance experience, preferably in Financial Services industry & Headcount and Expense Experience - Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, preferably with experience of Hyperion Essbase and Access. - Experience in creating Tableau dashboards, Python and Alteryx a plus - Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills - Positive attitude and demonstrate intellectual curiosity - Excellent organizational, management, both verbal & written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly. - The ability to comprehend and clearly communicate complex concepts and maintain composure in a large group setting with multiple - Sound judgment, professional maturity and personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
