You have found the right team. - As the Financial Analysis and Control professional in our Corporate & Investment Banking, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm - Your role is part of the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Payments Pricing Team (Finance Controls) and is responsible for providing support to the onshore CIB Finance Control Lead. - This program is aligned to the CIB Controllers organization which is responsible for ensuring the overall integrity and validity of the control environment. - The role supports CIB Payments and Finance teams, primarily responsible to evaluate controls governed by Payments and Pricing Governance, Compliance and Operation Risk Evaluation (CORE) program. - In addition, provide governance and oversight on updating and integration of new tools, development/UAT and release of Pricing calculators, CIB Finance Tooling and Estimation Inventory as well as Inter Affiliated Charters. Job Responsibilities: - Support Merchant Services pricing initiatives, such as core and product pricing, re-pricing requests, client maintenance, data modeling, document and batch file management, client and employee communications, as well as ad-hoc special projects and requests as needed - The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and financial analysis skills, the ability to work successfully across teams, and have experience utilizing SQL and big data environments - Assessment of current and front-book pricing with recommendations for historical price adjustments and suggested pricing for approval thresholds - Use and query data from disparate sources and work cross functionally to develop pricing strategies to improve revenue for the J.P. Morgan Payments business - Development and recommendations for new or modified pricing constructs going to market Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - MBA in Finance/CA with 4-7 years of relevant experience within the Financial Services - preferred with financial modeling or Merchant Pricing an advantage - Strong quantitative, analytical, technical and problem solving skills. Strong SQL and Microsoft skills (advanced Excel preferred), PowerPoint, and SharePoint - Detail oriented with the ability to work well under pressure, handling multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously - Strong SQL background in querying large datasets, and experience in deep diving to determine root cause and propose solutions - Capability to navigate multiple data sets and synthesize into cohesive presentation and recommendations. - Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and self-manage deadlines and deliverables, clearly articulating progress and milestones - Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders: firm-wide, functional Finance and lines of business teams to ensure the timely, accurate and effective delivery of recurring and ad-hoc initiatives Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Team oriented, inquisitive, critical thinker who anticipates questions from internal clients and management - Desire to learn quickly, be flexible and think strategically - Prior experience in SQL, Alteryx, QlikView, Xceptor, Robotics, Tableau, VB Macros, complex excel formulas, datasets within Excel, pivot tables and/or BI tools preferred - SharePoint experience will be preferred.
