Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) - Data Analysis and Visualization - Associate Description: - Our Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk ("CCOR") organization is at the forefront of managing risk in a complex and changing regulatory environment. Joining our department, you'll help to safeguard the firm's business by developing solutions that balance risk and regulatory requirements with the firm's business needs. Our teams work globally, across all lines of business. We are part of the 'second line of defense' and is a critical part of the firm's control framework. You'll provide input on new business strategies, product lines, policies and education, operational processes, risk mitigation and control - The CCOR Risk Assessment team is part of the firm's Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) organization. The Risk Assessment Reporting & Analytics team works with CCOR functional groups to deliver a suite of solutions designed to facilitate data-driven decision making and enable the proactive management of risk. The team is tasked with designing, developing and implementing metrics, dashboards and analytical tools to support the effective identification, monitoring and escalation of Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk issues. Key Responsibilities Include: - Develop and implement of dashboards and analytical tools, including design and development of key functionality using data visualization (Tableau, etc..) and data transformation tools (Alteryx, etc..) - Work with Business Analyst teams to understand business requirements and gather data requirements - Partner with data providers and technology to identify and source data to fulfil the development of metrics - Assess the availability and completeness of source data to support business requirements and work closely with data providers and technology teams to communicate requirements - Work closely with the technology development team to monitor the design/development undertaken by them at agreed points throughout the project life cycle - Regularly document and communicate project progress, analysis results, and propose data solutions to Business Analysts and other project stakeholders - Participate in other Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk initiatives as a Data Analyst - To be successful in this role, the candidate must be prepared to work in a fast-paced, challenging yet rewarding environment delivering first class program and analytical solutions. They must be a strong self-starter and enjoy creating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. They will be able to lead and collaborate on projects as assigned.
