Analyst - Reconciliations and vendor management Description : - You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in " Reconciliations and vendor management ". - You have found the right team. - As "Reconciliations and vendor management " within our " External Research team" , you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm. - The External Research Management Team(EMRT) is a global hub managing the demand and supply of external research into Asset and Wealth Management. - We support 630+ investors and 300+ providers in EMEA, Asia and the US across different Investment platforms. - The team has responsibility for the oversight of JPMAM's use of external research policy, the management of research provider relationships and associated payments made by JPMAM and/or clients using equity trading commissions. - The ideal candidate will have at least 3years of experience in a research-focused team, with a strong understanding of stakeholder relationship management. - This role will involve managing relationships with external research providers and the external vendors and managing payments made by JPMAM to the vendors . Job Responsibilities : - Managing the payments which is made by JPMAM to the external vendors . - Creating purchase orders in ARIBA for each vendor. - Ensuring the invoice Is received and processed by the internal team and payment is received by the vendor. - Effective chasing and closing the payment in the provided timeline. - Oversee the reconciliation of Commission Sharing Agreements (CSAs) to ensure accurate allocation of research costs. - Internal Reporting for all the metrics of ERMT. Required qualifications, capabilities and skills : - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field with minimum 2 years of experience. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft excel. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills : - Experience in a financial services or research management environment. - Familiarity with external research providers and industry best practices.
