The hybrid Data Science/Business Analyst role will require working with stakeholders across the Securities Services Operations functions, looking to leverage data quality and management best practice across the industry and other J.P. Morgan business units. Key roles and responsibilities : - Baseline data quality metrics Identify create, produce and track key performance indicators and metrics. - Identify key risk data and process items - Ability to mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them to management - Analyze data for trends and patterns, and Interpret data with a clear objective in mind - Undertake review of current business and systemic processes with a view to identify efficiency and automation opportunities - Working knowledge of industry wide data quality toolsets to support identified data validation and remediation. - System and process data mapping - Creating data visualisations; dashboards, controls, real time reconciliations - Design and Implement proactive data monitoring. Qualifications : - Agile Project management and Business analysis experience. - Excellent working knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, MS Access and Excel - Securities Services Product knowledge strongly preferred - Experience of Data Governance principles would be advantageous - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication, presentation (both oral and written) - Confidence in communicating internally at all levels; candidate will be dealing with stakeholders of varying degrees of seniority across the business, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Technology teams. - Effective change management skills.
