Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and manage the Accounts Receivable team, ensuring accurate and timely billing, collections, and reconciliation of customer accounts.

- Oversee the end-to-end AR process, including invoice generation, cash application, dispute resolution, and credit management.

- Monitor aging reports, identify overdue accounts, and implement effective collection strategies to minimize DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).

- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.

- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve the invoicing process.

- Manage customer master data and ensure proper documentation for all accounts.

- Review and approve credit limits, ensuring adherence to company credit policies.

- Prepare and present periodic AR reports, dashboards, and cash flow forecasts to management.

- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance AR efficiency and accuracy.

- Support audit requirements and coordinate with external auditors as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA / CA / CMA preferred).

- 4+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, AR processes, and credit control practices.

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Oracle EBS / Oracle Fusion / SAP / NetSuite / Microsoft Dynamics.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

- Proven track record in managing large AR portfolios and improving collection efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in a shared services / global finance environment.

- Exposure to order-to-cash (O2C) cycle management.

- Ability to analyze trends and recommend strategic collection and credit policies
