John Jacobs - Alliance and Partnership Manager Job Role- Strategic Partnership and Alliances Job Responsibilities: Acquiring and Onboarding New Partnerships: - Responsible for coordinating Strategies for partner Acquisition, identifying new opportunities, developing a business case for these partnerships and initiating partner discussions. - Initiate and establish deep relationships with client and understanding their strategy, technology solutions, roadmap and go to market focus. - Ideate and conceptualize new propositions and prospects to help set and drive product strategy - Completely owns assigned accounts from Lead generation to closure of account and maintaining active relationships with client proactively addressing business issues, identifying ways to maximize value for both parties and acting as a point of contact for such partnerships. - On boarding the new partner, scoping out the business, negotiating and ensuring a smooth transition of the channel - Handholding the partner through Digital Integration journey on API, SDK aspects Marketing and Branding: - Explore potential business models / best practices as per industry trends and present / recommend to alliance partners - New product development for alliance partners with integrated insurance proposals to service an identified customer base - Campaign management - Negotiate with vendors and other external agencies to drive the marketing ROI . Relationship & Channel Management: - Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers in the traditional and emerging (digital and ecommerce) space - Responsible for planning, end to end implementation of online and offline campaigns and other requirements from the partners' end - Work closely with Marketing, Product, Operations teams to ensure all partner deliverables are met - Engaging with the Key Customers by building strong business relationship to develop and deliver on business - Responsible for planning, end to end implementation of online and offline campaigns and other requirements from the partners' end - Liaison between internal stakeholders and the partner to ensure all the requirements are met Business Planning, Cost budgeting & Sales Initiatives: - Responsible for Business planning, Revenue, cost & manpower planning for the year - Implementation of key sales initiatives for the channel - R&R, contests, trainings, skill building sessions for sales teams and partners to motivate them - Monitor, support and conduct reviews and feedback sessions with the teams for continuous development and achieving business volumes as projected - Present Root Cause Analysis and best practices propagation to produce optimal results - Management Information and Reporting Summary of Key responsibilities: - Establish a systematic process for partner outreach and relationship management. - Build and develop commercial and strategic relationships with our key targeted partners. - Coordinate with the public relations team to ensure that any information going out is in the best interest of the company. - Work with other teams internal to the organization to ensure that Alliance and Partnership goals are synchronized with organizational goals. - Encourage and supervise any collaborations with partner brands. - Negotiate and finalize deals with partners and alliances that benefit the company - Attend various trade fairs and networking events on behalf of the company. - Work in liaison with the sales and marketing team to understand current market trends and build relationships accordingly. - Strategize newer ways to grow current partnerships.
