The New Initiatives Team at JoVE functions as the company's internal innovation engine. Structured like a startup within JoVE, this team focuses on zero-to-one product development and user-centric growth. As a Product Manager - Growth, you will lead the charge in developing and scaling innovative products that unlock new user segments and enhance the value delivered to our existing audience. Key Responsibilities: - Own and scale product-led growth initiatives across the user funnel - acquisition, activation, retention, referral, and monetization. - Build, prioritize, and execute a roadmap of growth experiments, MVPs, and product feature launches. - Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, marketing, content, sales) and external stakeholders to execute high-impact opportunities. - Design and lead A/B tests and other rapid experimentation models to validate ideas. - Analyze user data and behavior using tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or GA to inform product direction. - Identify and remove friction points in the user journey through quantitative and qualitative insights. - Contribute to building a scalable, repeatable growth engine within JoVE's product suite. Requirements: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field. - 4+ years of experience in product management, ideally in a growth-focused role. - Proven track record of driving user and revenue growth through data-driven product strategies. - Expertise in A/B testing, user funnels, retention, and cohort analysis. - Hands-on experience with growth tools and comfort working with data (e.g., SQL). - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of thriving in ambiguous, fast-paced environments. - Prior experience in 0-1 product building is highly preferred.
