Jivo - Regional Sales Manager - Oil & Water Segment

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Planning & Business Growth:


- Develop and implement region-specific sales strategies to achieve volume, value, and market share targets in the edible oil category.

- Deliver strong primary and secondary sales across General Trade, Modern Trade, and Wholesale channels.

- Identify and scale new business opportunities in Tier 1, 2, and rural markets within the West zone.

Distribution & Channel Management

- Appoint and manage a network of efficient and ROI-positive distributors.

- Strengthen retail presence through route optimization and retail mapping.

- Ensure regular servicing of outlets and adequate stock availability at distributor and retail levels.

- Execute trade schemes effectively and monitor distributor claim settlements.

Team Leadership & Development

- Manage, mentor, and monitor the regional sales team including Area Sales Managers, Territory Sales Officers, and Field Executives.

- Set clear performance metrics and ensure timely reviews and capability building.

- Drive discipline in field execution, beat planning, and market coverage.

Market Intelligence & Competitor Tracking

- Gather market insights on pricing, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities.

- Provide feedback to marketing and product teams for campaign and product alignment.

- Recommend pricing strategies based on regional dynamics.

Reporting & MIS:

- Prepare accurate and timely sales forecasts, monthly reports, and performance dashboards.

- Monitor KPIs including outlet productivity, sales targets, coverage, and distribution health.

- Ensure adherence to company systems, processes, and compliance norms.

Candidate Profile:

- Education: Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred

Experience:


- 8-12 years of sales experience in FMCG/Edible Oil sector


- Minimum 3 years in a regional leadership role managing edible oil sales


- Strong knowledge of the West market: Maharashtra, Gujarat, MP, Rajasthan, Goa

Skillset:


- In-depth understanding of edible oil distribution, pricing, and consumer preferences


- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership abilities


- Strong distributor handling and market development skills


- Proficient in MS Excel, Sales MIS, and CRM tools
