Key Responsibilities:


- Strategic Leadership


- Define and implement the overall business strategy to drive revenue, market share, and profitability.


- Identify growth opportunities in existing and new markets (including domestic and international expansion).


P&L Management:


- Own the full Profit & Loss responsibility for the business.


- Drive cost optimization and operational efficiencies across all departments.


Sales & Marketing Oversight:


- Provide strategic direction to the national sales and marketing teams.


- Ensure alignment between brand objectives and sales execution, especially in the general trade and modern trade channels.


Operations Management:


- Oversee production, supply chain, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth operations.


- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to align demand planning with capacity.


Team Leadership:


- Build and manage a high-performance cross-functional team across sales, marketing, operations, and support functions.


- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.


Market & Competitor Analysis:


- Monitor market dynamics, industry trends, and competitor activities to adapt business strategies accordingly.


- Ensure strong presence and visibility in key markets through targeted marketing and distribution strategies.


Stakeholder Management:


- Liaise with board members, investors, partners, and other key stakeholders to provide updates and insights on business performance.


- Manage regulatory, compliance, and statutory responsibilities for the business unit.


Key Requirements:


Experience:


- 8-12 years of experience in FMCG, preferably with at least 5-7 years in a leadership role managing large teams and business units.


- Mandatory experience in Edible Oil or related food processing sectors.


Education:


- MBA/PGDM from a reputed institute preferred.


- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or related fields.


Skills & Competencies:


- Strong business acumen with proven P&L management skills.


- Deep knowledge of General Trade, distribution networks, and FMCG sales operations.


- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.


- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.


- Strategic mindset with operational execution strength.
