Buy-side Equity Research Analyst

Job Description

Recruit has to:

- Flesh out the complexities and significance of evolving qualitative-quantitative change in the business/growth story under investigation

- Track change in existing investment companies on an ongoing basis

- Assess quarterly performance of investment companies in granular detail, prepare spreadsheets-notes, and email internally

- Investigate uninvested companies of interest (New Projects) in detail, and continue soft coverage

- Peruse corporate filings, research reports (company, sector, etc), media articles, data/information available on databases or in the public domain, etc

- Prepare for immersive discussions on companies, sectors, results etc.

- Prepare for and engage with companies on earnings calls, tele-conversations, one-on-one meetings, plant or site visits, etc.

- Perform channel-checks as and when required

- Prepare meticulous notes and compile individual dossiers on investment companies and New Projects

- Document all work in soft and hard copy, and also upload to designated locations

The recruit is required to

- Read exhaustively and articulate clearly in writing and through discussions

- Possess innate curiosity and critical reasoning ability think originally

- Develop a 360- perspective and holistic approach to the task at hand be willing to do quality incisive work meet company managements and do site/plant visits inside or outside Mumbai

- CA, CFA, MBA (Freshers may apply)

Emoluments offered shall be commensurate with candidate qualifications, nature and duration of experience, and skillsets fit/match.
