Role : Java Architect - SmartFoxServer Platform Designation : Principal Architect Experience : 8 to 10 years We are seeking a talented and experienced Java Architect with expertise in the SmartFoxServer platform and strong multi-threading skills to join our dynamic gaming company. As a Java Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the architecture of our gaming systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain the architecture of our gaming systems using Java and the SmartFoxServer platform - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including game developers, server engineers, and product managers to define architectural requirements and design solutions - Demonstrated experience in shipping high-quality products with low latency at high concurrency - Implement efficient and scalable server-side components for real-time multiplayer gaming - Optimize server performance by utilizing multi-threading techniques and minimizing latency - Ensure the security, stability, and scalability of the gaming systems - Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to the development team - Identify and resolve architectural issues, performance bottlenecks, and scalability challenges - Troubleshooting design flaws and system bottlenecks. Performance evaluation and debugging tools for Java like VisualVM, Jconsole etc. - Performing validation tests to ensure the flexibility and scalability of the Java environment - Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in gaming architecture Requirements : - Strong experience in Java development and architecture design for large-scale applications - Proven expertise in the SmartFoxServer platform and its various components - Deep understanding of multi-threading concepts and experience in optimizing performance in a multi-threaded environment - Familiarity with real-time multiplayer gaming concepts, protocols, and server architectures - Solid understanding of network programming, socket communication, and security protocols - Experience with distributed storage and database systems (SQL or NoSQL) - Proficiency in database design and SQL - Familiarity with in-memory storage solutions like Redis or Hazlecast - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and collaboration abilities - Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming industry Preferred Skills : - Knowledge of cloud technologies and experience with deploying gaming systems on cloud platforms - Experience with container technologies like ECS, Kubernetes, Docker, etc. - Understanding of zero downtime deployment in a distributed environment is a plus - Understanding of state full matching, maintaining state, and recovering state in a distributed system
