Job Summary
The Head of HR is responsible for leading the organization's Human Resources strategy, policies, and operations. This role ensures that the company attracts, develops, and retains the best talent while fostering a high-performing and inclusive work environment. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of aligning HR functions with broader business goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with company goals.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team on organizational development and talent-related issues.
- Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
2. Talent Acquisition & Retention
- Oversee recruitment and employer branding strategies.
- Ensure a seamless onboarding experience and effective talent pipelines.
- Build a culture that attracts and retains high-performing individuals.
3. Performance Management
- Design and implement robust performance management frameworks.
- Guide goal-setting, appraisal, and feedback systems across departments.
- Support a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
4. Learning & Development
- Identify skill gaps and training needs across the organization.
- Design leadership development, succession planning, and upskilling programs.
- Promote a learning culture.
5. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture.
- Conduct employee engagement surveys and follow through on action plans.
- Manage employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution effectively.
6. Compensation & Benefits
- Develop competitive compensation structures and benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal equity.
- Lead annual salary reviews and incentive plans.
7. HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Maintain HR systems and accurate employee records.
- Drive digital transformation and automation in HR processes where applicable.
8. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Set measurable goals and track DEI metrics.
- Build an inclusive culture where every employee feels valued.
9. Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR team.
- Allocate resources effectively and build HR capabilities across the organization.
- Promote a service-oriented and data-driven HR function.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3-5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR systems, and organizational behavior.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in scaling HR in growing or transforming organizations is a plus.
