Job Description - Senior Manager IT (Cloud, Web & AI)

Position Overview

Janapriya Upscale is hiring a hands-on technology leader to own our cloud VPS servers, company websites, AI tools, office network and business application architecture end to end, and to manage our SAP support and hosting vendors. You will design, build, deploy and run systems yourself, not just coordinate vendors.

You will connect our core platforms (Salesforce CRM, SAP, Primavera P6, Microsoft 365) with AI tools and automation. The goal: Sales, CRM, Finance, Projects and Management get faster, more accurate information with less manual work.

1. Cloud VPS, Hosting & Development (approx. 20%):

- Own the cloud VPS environment that hosts our websites, MCP connectors, APIs and internal applications: architecture, provisioning, security, monitoring and cost.

- Develop, deploy and maintain MCP connector servers and API services that link Salesforce, SAP, Primavera P6 and Microsoft 365 to AI tools.

- Administer Linux servers (Ubuntu/Debian): hardening, patching, users, SSH keys, host firewalls (UFW/iptables) and intrusion protection (fail2ban).

- Manage reverse proxies (Nginx), SSL certificates, DNS and company subdomains.

- Containerise services with Docker and set up CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar) for repeatable deployments.

- Own backups and disaster recovery for websites, VPS servers and MCP connectors: automated snapshots, off-site copies and tested restores.

- Monitor uptime, performance and logs, and respond to incidents.

- Manage secrets, API keys and OAuth tokens for connectors with least-privilege access.

- Evaluate and manage cloud and VPS providers, and report monthly spend to management.

- Maintain documentation of architecture, credential handover procedures and runbooks.

2. Websites & Digital Platforms (approx. 15%):

- Own the corporate website and all project microsites and landing pages: hosting, performance, security and uptime.

- Manage the CMS (WordPress or headless CMS), themes, plugins, updates and security hardening.

- Build and update project pages, floor plans, pricing sections, galleries and campaign landing pages with the marketing team.

- Integrate enquiry forms, chat widgets and campaign pages with Salesforce so every lead is captured with its source, campaign and UTM data.

- Ensure fast load times, mobile responsiveness and strong Core Web Vitals.

- Support technical SEO: site structure, sitemaps, schema markup, redirects, page speed and Search Console health.

- Manage domains, DNS, email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), SSL and CDN (e.g. Cloudflare).

- Maintain analytics and tracking (GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, conversion tracking) with marketing and digital agencies.

- Protect sites against spam, bots, DDoS and malware; keep regular backups and a tested restore process.

- Coordinate with external web and digital agencies while keeping technical ownership in-house.

3. AI Tools & Automation (approx. 20%):

- Lead the company's AI adoption: identify high-value use cases across Sales, CRM, Collections, Finance, Projects and Management.

- Evaluate, deploy and administer AI assistants (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot), including access, usage policies and training.

- Build and maintain integrations that let AI tools securely access company data, such as MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers or API connectors for Salesforce, SAP and Primavera P6.

- Develop AI-powered dashboards, reports and internal tools: collections summaries, outstanding analysis, sales snapshots, project status, vendor and invoice checks.

- Automate repetitive work: report generation, data reconciliation, email and document drafting, lead follow-ups and duplicate invoice detection.

- Explore customer-facing AI such as website chatbots and WhatsApp assistants for enquiries and site-visit booking.

- Use LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI) with sound practice: prompt design, structured outputs, error handling, cost control and logging.

- Put guardrails in place: data privacy, role-based access, no leakage of customer or financial data, and human review of sensitive outputs.

- Train and support business users so AI tools are actually used and trusted.

- Track AI developments and run small pilots before wider rollout.

4. SAP Vendor Coordination, Business Applications & Data (approx. 10%):

- Act as the single point of contact between the company and the SAP support vendor for issues across all modules (e.g. SD, FI, MM).

- Log, prioritise, track and escalate SAP issues and change requests; monitor SLA adherence and resolution quality.

- Hold regular reviews with the vendor on open tickets, recurring issues and pending changes, and report status to management.

- Coordinate with Cloud4C on SAP infrastructure: availability, performance, patching windows, DR drills and incidents. SAP infrastructure backups sit with Cloud4C; this role checks they are done as per contract.

- Route user access requests, role changes and offboarding to the vendor and confirm completion.

- Gather requirements from business users for SAP changes and coordinate user acceptance testing before go-live.

- Review vendor and Cloud4C contracts, SLAs and invoices, and support renewals.

- Manage SAP data access for integration with Salesforce, reporting and AI tools.

- Support Primavera P6 data access for projects, WBS, activities and budgets.

- Build and maintain data pipelines and sync jobs between SAP, Salesforce and reporting systems, with control totals and reconciliation checks.

- Deliver MIS and management dashboards (Power BI or custom web dashboards).

5. Salesforce & Application Architecture (approx. 15%):

- Design and architect Salesforce solutions: data model, object relationships, security model, automation design and integration architecture, aligned to the real estate sales and collections process.

- Architect other business applications and custom tools (internal web apps, portals, dashboards, AI tools), choosing the right platform, hosting and integration approach.

- Define the application and integration landscape across Salesforce, SAP, Primavera P6, Microsoft 365, websites and AI tools, with architecture and data-flow diagrams.

- Evaluate new applications and vendors, and lead build-versus-buy decisions with management.

- Own Salesforce administration: users, profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules and licences.

- Configure objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules and picklists across the full real estate lifecycle: lead - site visit - booking - agreement of sale - payment schedule - demand notes - receipts - handover.

- Maintain custom objects for units inventory, payment schedules, demand notes, receipts, loan and mortgage status, and snag lists.

- Build automation with Flows, approval processes and email alerts; use Apex and Lightning Web Components where configuration is not enough.

- Build reports and dashboards for sales, bookings, collections, outstanding ageing, pipeline, site-visit conversion and campaign ROI.

- Manage lead capture and routing: web-to-lead, property portals (99acres, MagicBricks, Housing.com), Meta and Google lead ads, assignment rules, telephony and WhatsApp integrations.

- Integrate Salesforce with SAP, the website, payment gateways and AI tools via REST APIs, Connected Apps, Named Credentials and MCP connectors.

- Keep CRM data clean: duplicate management, Data Loader imports, backups and field-level audit.

- Manage releases safely: sandboxes, change sets or Salesforce DX, testing, and review of Salesforce's three annual releases.

- Support and train CRM and Sales users, and coordinate with Salesforce implementation partners.

6. Network, Firewalls & Telephony (approx. 15%):

- Architect and design the network for head office, site offices and sales lounges: LAN, Wi-Fi, VLANs, switching, routing and IP addressing.

- Design, configure and manage firewalls (e.g. Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto): security policies, site-to-site and remote-access VPN, content filtering, IPS and logging.

- Manage internet links: redundancy, failover, load balancing and bandwidth planning, with SD-WAN where suitable.

- Deploy and manage IP phones and IP PBX systems.

- Design and run cloud telephony solutions for sales, CRM and customer care: IVR, call routing, virtual numbers, call recording and reporting.

- Integrate cloud telephony with Salesforce: click-to-call, automatic call logging, missed-call leads and recordings on records.

- Set up network monitoring and alerting, and maintain network diagrams, IP plans and configuration backups.

- Plan network, telephony and CCTV setup for new sites and sales offices.

- Coordinate with network, telephony and ISP vendors on AMCs, SLAs and incidents.

7. IT Operations & Governance (approx. 5%):

- Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD): users, licences, MFA, conditional access, SharePoint and Teams.

- Oversee end-user support, devices and CCTV across head office, site offices and sales lounges, with the support team or vendors.

- Define IT and AI usage policies, access reviews, onboarding and offboarding.

- Ensure compliance with India's DPDP Act and data protection best practice.

- Manage IT vendors, AMCs, licences, renewals and the annual IT budget.

- Lead and mentor IT team members.

Qualifications

- B.Tech / B.E. / MCA in Computer Science, IT or a related field.

- 12 - 20 years in IT, with demonstrable ownership of cloud infrastructure and production web applications.

- Hands-on experience in Salesforce architecture, network design (firewalls, VPN, VLANs) and cloud telephony, plus managing SAP support vendors and hosting partners.

- Real estate, construction or infrastructure industry experience is a strong advantage.

- Preferred certifications: AWS Solutions Architect / Azure Administrator, CCNA / Fortinet NSE, Salesforce Administrator / Application Architect, ITIL, Microsoft 365, or relevant AI/ML certifications.
