
Role Purpose:
The Business Manager - EBOs will own the end-to-end vertical of Exclusive Brand Standalone Stores (COCO, Omni-channel & Franchise).
The role demands leadership across business development, sales operations, merchandising, and marketing activation, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and continuous growth in revenue, profitability, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Ownership & Strategy:
- Drive P&L ownership of the EBO vertical (COCO, Omni-Channel + Franchise).
- Formulate and execute strategies to increase topline, profitability, and market penetration.
- Align store expansion with brand strategy - oversee new store feasibility, location scouting, ROI modeling, and launch execution.
Sales & Operations Leadership:
- Monitor monthly and seasonal sales targets across geographies, ensuring consistent achievement.
- Drive channel KPIs: LFL growth, ASP, SSPD, NPS, sell-through, and markdown optimization.
- Implement strong store audit and SOP adherence mechanisms (operations, VM, staff productivity).
Merchandising & Assortment:
- Oversee seasonal merchandise planning and allocation in coordination with central buying & merchandising teams.
- Ensure stock rotation, ageing management, and optimal assortment at store level to maximize sell-through.
- Use money-mapping principles to minimize dark zones and improve display efficiency.
Marketing & Promotions:
- Work in close coordination with MarCom to roll out store-level promotions, campaigns, and regional activations.
- Monitor campaign ROI, footfall uplift, and conversion metrics.
- Support new product launches and ensure VM execution is aligned with brand identity.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of Area Managers, Sales Ops, and Merchandising staff .
- Build strong franchise partner relationships, ensuring alignment with brand standards and business goals.
- Drive performance culture with regular reviews, dashboards, and capability-building initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
- 10-15 years of experience in Retail / Apparel / Lifestyle industry, with proven success in managing EBO networks (COCO + Franchise).
- Strong commercial acumen with exposure to P&L ownership, business development, and merchandising.
- Demonstrated ability in leading large teams across geographies.
- Deep understanding of retail operations, customer experience, and sales analytics.
- Excellent stakeholder management (internal & external - landlords, franchisees, and partners).
- MBA / Master's in Retail / Fashion Management from reputed institute preferred
