Business Manager Digital Commerce Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Business Manager to spearhead growth across our digital commerce platforms - including our owned portal (Madameonline. com), Omni-integrated Madame stores, and all key marketplace channels (Nykaa, Myntra, Amazon, etc.
This role carries end-to-end accountability for marketing, sales, merchandising, customer experience, and channel expansion. The goal: to grow/double the digital commerce over the next two years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive GMV and Net Sales across madameonline.com, omni-retail, and marketplaces.
- Scale performance on platforms like Nykaa, Myntra, Amazon, etc.across SOR, PPMP, JIT models.
- Launch new platforms and other Tier 2/Tier 3-centric digital commerce channels.
- Onboard onto quick-commerce channels
- Build core and basic range assortments specific to channel consumption behavior.
- Own end-to-end assortment planning and seasonal budgeting to optimize sell-through.
- Lead merchandising function to ensure alignment between demand, visibility, and inventory availability.
- Supervise and guide Customer Care Associates (CCAs) to ensure timely resolution of grievances and elevate NPS.
- Collaborate with MarCom and Performance Marketing for ROI-positive campaigns and conversion-focused execution.
- Align inventory, pricing, and product visibility between online platforms and physical Omni retail stores.
- Own reporting dashboards and deliver weekly/monthly KPI updates to leadership.
Skills & Competencies:
- 4+ years experience in e-commerce, digital retail, or marketplace operations.
- Proven track record in fashion/lifestyle categories.
- Strong grasp of platform models - SOR, PPMP, JIT, NSV vs MRP, return management.
- Deep analytical ability - fluent in GA4, Shopify, Excel, and dashboarding.
- Leadership of multi-functional teams (marketing, CCAs, ops, merchandising).
- Agility to test & scale new platforms and consumer segments
