- We have an exciting opportunity on our team for a Solutions Architect.
- The Solutions Architect will work alongside the US Solutions Team to respond to RFPs, create proposals, and develop a sales pipeline.
- The Solutions Architect will have two primary areas of responsibility: 1) business development 2) sales solutioning.
- The focus of business development is lead generation and qualification, with volume and quality metrics.
- In addition, the Solutions Architect will help to form strategies and execute sales campaigns.
- Sales solutioning focuses on setting and executing sales strategy at the opportunity level and developing deals through to win/closure.
- The priorities of this role will shift between the two functions as business needs dictate.
What can you expect to do?
- Engage with prospects and listen to what procurement solutions may be the best fit for their needs.
- Educate, answer questions, and connect resources to potential clients on ProcureAbilitys offerings and capabilities.
- Develop solutions and create proposals to prospective clients' business needs.
- Produce and manage the creation of high-quality, professional deliverables, proposals, and RFx responses.
- Document sales solutioning approach, pricing strategy, client notes, and create other documentation as needed in the sales cycle.
- Engage with ProcureAbility delivery leaders as needed for delivery services subject matter expertise and proposal development.
- Manage the end to end sales cycle with prospective clients from inbound opportunity through close.
- Focus on shortening the length of the sales cycle by generating quality leads and acting as quality control to ensure prospective client clients align with our product mix.
- Conduct market research and individual prospect research.
- Drive standardization in solutioning process and approach Facilitate contract negotiations with Legal.
- Drive continuous process improvement to increase yield in SQL to win ratio.
- Set and manage sales metrics, dashboard oversight, and maintenance and report to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain CRM (Hubspot) to manage pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting.
What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?:
- Minimum of five (5) years in business development/solutions/sales and/or equivalent work experience within the procurement function.
- Experience supporting US-based and global companies and clients across timezones.
- Worked within procurement consulting world.
- Experience in negotiation, contract triage, and administration.

- Ability to manage own workload, maintain deadlines, and prioritize / reprioritize effectively.
- Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced, and results-driven team environment.
- Attention to detail in a metrics-driven model.
- Ability to provide 6 or more hours of overlap with US Eastern Time Zone.
- Ability to attend conferences and represent ProcureAbility as required.
