We are looking for passionate MSc Statistics Freshers or MBA graduates with a strong quantitative background who can contribute to our data science and analytics team. Role Overview As a Data Analyst (MSc Statistics / MBA) at FrogData, you will work on developing statistical models, analyzing large datasets, and deriving actionable insights to support our AI-powered analytics products for the automotive industry. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to enhance our data-driven decision-making solutions. Key Responsibilities - Work with large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to automotive dealerships. - Develop statistical models, forecasting techniques, and predictive analytics for various business functions. - Apply regression analysis, hypothesis testing, time series analysis, and other statistical techniques to solve business problems. - Assist in data preprocessing, cleaning, and transformation to ensure high-quality analytics. - Support the implementation of machine learning algorithms under the guidance of senior data scientists. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and product managers, to improve data pipelines and analytics capabilities. - Generate reports and dashboards using statistical tools and visualization platforms like Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI. - Stay updated with the latest statistical methodologies and industry trends to enhance analytical capabilities. - For MBA graduates, leverage business acumen to frame analytical problems and translate insights into business recommendations. Required Qualifications & Skills Either: - MSc in Statistics from a Tier 1 / reputed university. - MBA from a reputed university with a strong quantitative background (e.g., specialization in Finance, Analytics, Operations Research). - Strong foundation in statistical concepts, probability, and data analysis techniques. - Knowledge of R, Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels) for data manipulation and statistical modeling. - Familiarity with SQL for querying and managing databases. - Basic understanding of machine learning concepts is a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. - Good communication skills to present data-driven insights effectively. - For MBA graduates, demonstrated ability to understand business problems and connect analytical findings to business strategy
