Role Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned, strategic, and results-driven Vice President - Recruitment & Talent Acquisition to build and lead our end-to-end hiring function. This person will own hiring strategy and execution across technology, operations, logistics, and support functions - and ensure we bring in the best talent needed to drive Blitz's aggressive growth and operational expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Talent Acquisition strategy across IT/Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Customer Support, Admin & Non-IT verticals - aligned to company growth plans.
- Lead, manage and mentor a recruitment / TA team. Build robust sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding processes.
- Partner closely with business heads (Operations, Tech, Product, Logistics, Support, etc.) to build manpower plans, forecast hiring needs, and define hiring priorities.
- Leverage data and metrics (hiring velocity, quality-of-hire, time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, attrition risk, etc.) to measure recruitment effectiveness and continuously optimize hiring processes.
- Build/reinforce employer branding to attract top talent - internally (culture, vision) and externally (market presence, social proof).
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, job portals, staffing vendors, and other hiring channels.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, employment regulations, and internal policies in hiring & onboarding.
- Drive diversity & inclusion hiring initiatives where relevant.
- Ensure smooth candidate experience, strong onboarding, and retention strategy in collaboration with HR and people operations teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile / Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in recruitment / talent acquisition - ideally with 3-5+ years in a senior leadership / head-of-TA / VP-level role.
- Proven track record of hiring at scale - across varied domains (Tech / IT, Operations /Logistics / Warehouse, Back-office / Support / Admin).
- Comfortable in high-growth, fast-paced, start-up / scale-up environment (with multiple hiring workflows and urgent hiring needs).
- Strong stakeholder management - ability to partner with functional heads, leadership team, and drive hiring buy-in across organization.
- Experience in building recruitment teams, processes, and implementing metrics-driven hiring.
- Familiarity with modern recruitment tools/ATS, sourcing channels, data-driven hiring, employer branding.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing skills, and high ownership mindset.
- Strategic thinking, ability to plan long-term talent needs aligned to business roadmap.
