Job Summary:

As Senior Manager - FP&A and Accounts, you will anchor Company's financial operations across both controllership and financial planning. This is a high-ownership role that spans accounting, compliance and reporting on one side and budgeting, forecasting, analysis and business partnering on the other, with direct impact on the decisions that shape how company grows. You will work closely with the Head of Finance and bring both rigour and strategic thinking to everything you do.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely book closure and financial reporting across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.

- Lead balance sheet finalization, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliations with precision and accountability.

- Ensure compliance with Ind AS, GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations, and coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

- Own the annual budgeting and periodic re-forecasting process, building bottoms-up plans together with business, category, and operations teams.

- Track actuals against budget, analyse variances, and translate the underlying drivers into clear, actionable insights for management.

- Monitor accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow, and partner on working-capital and treasury planning.

- Drive process improvements and strengthen internal financial controls.

- Build and maintain financial models, unit economics, and scenario analyses to support pricing, expansion, and other strategic decisions.

- Drive timely closure of books and ensure all compliance filings are submitted accurately and on schedule.

- Prepare MIS, management dashboards, and board and investor reporting, and support fund raising and due-diligence processes.

- Act as a finance business partner to cross-functional teams, and lead and mentor the finance and accounts team for efficient operations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Chartered Accountant with proven experience (typically 7+ years) across both Accounts - Controllership and FP&A - Business Finance. Experience straddling both areas will be a strong advantage.

- Preferred industry experience in FMCG - Ecommerce - Logistics - D2C - Startup environment.

- Strong working knowledge of Ind AS, GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance.

- Sound proficiency with Tally, advanced Excel, and financial modelling; familiarity with BI - reporting tools is a plus.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and reporting standards.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Good stakeholder communication, engagement and management with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

- High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-moving environment.
