We are hirig for leading full-stack EV asset management and leasing company

Key Responsibilities / What You'll Do:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Build and maintain robust financial models to simulate business scenarios and forecast company performance

- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the management team

- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles in close collaboration with business unit heads

- Develop dashboards and KPI frameworks to track financial health and operational efficiency

- Identify variances between actuals and forecasts, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions

Controlling & Reporting:

- Manage the monthly financial book closing process - ensuring all revenue and costs are properly recorded

- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and prepare accurate internal management reports

- Ensure compliance with Indian GAAP, Direct and Indirect Tax regulations for all group entities

- Collaborate with external and internal auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits

- Analyze the effect of statutory accounting practices and ensure correct application of GAAP

Strategic Finance:


- Collaborate with leadership on funding strategies, investor reporting, and capital allocation decisions

- Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations

- Develop and recommend solutions for financial challenges or process gaps

- Support strategic financial projects including ERP upgrades and system improvements

Process Improvement & Compliance:

- Participate in the ongoing development of accounting policies, SOPs, and operational strategies

- Drive continuous improvement in system efficiencies and business practices

- Ensure compliance with internal control policies and governance standards

- Foster strong internal communications across teams to create a positive and accountable work environment

Experience & Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Management Accounting, or Controlling

- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred

- Background in Financial Services, Leasing, or FinTech is a strong plus

- Solid knowledge of Indian GAAP, Direct and Indirect Taxation relating to Corporate

Accounting:

- Proficient in financial modelling; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

- Demonstrated creative, critical, and on-the-feet thinking skills

- Experience in process improvements - organized with exceptional attention to detail

- Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging at the C-suite level

- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and unwavering commitment to the organization's mission

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment
