MANAGER SALES ROLE SUMMARY
Youre a hustler with a sales mindset at heart, and very high levels of business ownership. Whether it is working with uncertainty, daunting targets or different kinds of people, you thrive in discovery and learning to succeed. You have significant real estate sales experience in Mumbai.
Youll initially be working to buy homes to build inventory for you to sell in the city, with our Business Development team. As inventory builds and is live for sale, you will specialize in selling inventory our Business Development team brings on board.
Youll be comfortable hunting, farming and nurturing Channel relationships. You should have a close knit group of Channel Partners in Mumbai youre already comfortable working with. You should be someone diligent in capturing data and insights.
Youll be comfortable speaking with both internal and external stakeholders. Youll routinely be negotiating for favorable business outcomes, and will become a master at understanding human behavior, emotion, setting and meeting expectations, both internally and externally. Youll build an incredible skillset, positioning you perfectly to grow to be a business owner as you progress in your career.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Youre someone who will be invested in the success of the business as a city, and will invest overall in doing exactly what it takes to get things there in the short term. You wont have a permanent definition of what you do right at the very beginning, but will thrive in the varied nature of expectations from you. Youll have one simple goal quantifiable progress in driving scalability of the city business via sales. Youll work with that North Star.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE
- An existing network of active channel partners on Mumbai's Western Line is a strong advantage.
- Already located in Mumbai.
- Some contacts within and an understanding of the Mumbai real estate market today.
- An understanding of Mumbais geography.
- Enthusiasm to work with CRM systems and drive value through them.
- Proficient in English, Hindi, Marathi and potentially some other languages.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, formal and informal (English).
- Good communication skills verbal (Hindi/English).
- A go-getter attitude, with the will to do what it takes and be flexible with a pure outcome focus.
- Comfort with targets & execution planning!
- Willing to travel within Mumbai regularly (you should love being in the field!).
- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel.
