Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Training Manager to design, implement, and manage comprehensive technical learning and development programs aligned with our Digital University strategy. The ideal candidate will drive IT capability building, foster a continuous learning culture, and ensure our teams stay ahead in an evolving digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
- Implement the Digital University strategy using the Accelerate, Align, Assess, and Adapt framework.
- Analyze the organizations IT skill database to identify critical skill gaps and development needs.
- Develop annual training and capability plans aligned with business priorities and digital transformation goals.
Learning Program Design & Delivery
- Design, develop, and execute technical and functional learning programs for diverse IT roles.
- Leverage virtual academies (Udemy, Skillsoft, LinkedIn Learning) and internal learning platforms.
- Introduce innovative learning methods such as gamification, micro-learning, credit points, and leaderboards to enhance engagement.
- Build pre- and post-assessments to measure learning effectiveness and track performance improvement.
Collaboration & HR Partnership
- Partner with HR and functional leaders to define and implement IT competency frameworks.
- Link technical and behavioral competencies to career progression and performance outcomes.
- Identify high-potential employees for advanced learning paths and leadership development.
- Collaborate with internal SMEs and external training partners for program design and delivery.
Operations & Technology Management
- Manage training budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximum ROI.
- Oversee Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Workday or Cornerstone.
- Utilize analytics tools (Power BI, Excel) to track participation, performance, and impact metrics.
- Create interactive content using tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or other authoring platforms.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, certifications, and digital learning trends.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Continuously assess and improve training delivery methods and outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology, HR, or related field.
- 10-18 years of experience in IT learning, capability building, or technical training management.
- Strong understanding of digital transformation, IT skill frameworks, and modern learning methodologies.
- Proficiency with LMS platforms (Workday, Cornerstone) and analytics tools (Power BI, Excel).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination skills.
- Certifications in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or Project Management will be an advantage.
