Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven IT Purchase Manager to oversee end-to-end procurement operations, vendor management, and contract negotiations for IT assets and services. This role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and strategic decision-making skills, with the ability to balance cost efficiency, quality, and compliance while aligning with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure consistent quality, timely delivery, and compliance with agreed terms.
- Evaluate new suppliers to expand and strengthen the vendor base.
Procurement Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for IT hardware, software, and services.
- Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on cost, quality, reliability, and service.
- Ensure procurement aligns with project timelines, budgets, and business requirements.
Negotiation & Contracts
- Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Secure favorable payment terms and cost efficiencies without compromising on quality.
- Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts and renewals.
Inventory & Demand Planning
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast IT requirements.
- Manage stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
- Ensure timely replenishment of IT assets and services.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of purchases, supplier agreements, and approvals.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare regular reports on procurement performance, vendor compliance, and cost savings.
- Provide actionable insights for continuous improvement in sourcing strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to ensure smooth procurement workflows.
- Support business units in evaluating and onboarding technology solutions.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with market trends, emerging technologies, and innovative sourcing practices.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
