Role Overview: The Project Manager will oversee insurance IT projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery while aligning with scope and quality standards. This role focuses on driving successful implementations in the insurance sector, from policy management systems to claims processing platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute end-to-end projects using methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches, including resource allocation and milestone tracking.

- Manage stakeholders and client interactions, facilitating requirement gathering, status updates, and issue resolution to maintain strong relationships.

- Ensure adherence to project methodologies, risk management protocols, and compliance with insurance regulations (e.g., IRDAI guidelines).

- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and KPIs using tools like MS Project or Jira, implementing corrective actions as needed.

- Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Proven experience in the insurance domain, including policy administration, claims, reinsurance, or underwriting IT projects.

- PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification preferred; hands-on Agile/Scrum experience essential.

- Strong client management skills with expertise in stakeholder communication, negotiation, and expectation setting.

- Proficiency in project tools (Jira, MS Project, Confluence) and knowledge of SDLC, testing (UAT), and deployment processes.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with insurtech innovations like digital claims processing, AI-driven underwriting, or cloud migrations (AWS/Azure).

- Familiarity with integration technologies (REST APIs, middleware) and data security standards (GDPR, ISO 27001).

- Ability to mentor junior PMs and collaborate with cross-functional teams (dev, QA, business analysts).
